This month, the Automobile and Fashion Museum, will receive the visit of the Argentine Family Zapp, made up of Herman, Candelaria and their four children; Pampa, Tehue, Paloma and Wallaby.
The Zapp family, travels around the world in a vintage car for 17 years, and arrives in Malaga after touring Spain for several months as part of their journey through Europe. In these years of crossing, they have been in the five continents and visited more than 70 countries.
They have travelled around the world in a 1920s Graham-Paige and will visit the Automotive and Fashion Museum, next March 30th, with their traveling companion, a car model similar to one that can be seen in our collection.
The vehicle has a box full of books for children in the back seat, and loads a trunk containing games, cooking utensils, and the book ‘Catch your dream’.
Thursday, March 30th, will start with the arrival of the family to the MAM in an unusual way and is that they will not enter walking… They will do with their Graham-Paige of the year 1928 that will be placed next to ours. After receiving the media and visitors who want to meet them, they will enjoy a guided tour of the collection, where they will be able to see the first electric car of 1916, the imposing Mercedes 540K, a Ferrari 250 GT of 1956, La Bomba with a motor of 530 CV Or the innovative German hydrogen prototype of 2010, so that Herman, Candelaria, Pampa, Tehue, Paloma and Wallaby enjoy having an unforgettable experience.
Later on, at 5 pm, a space will be set up for the signing of his book ‘Catch your dream’. In this book, they tell of their adventures, reflections, learning and much more about their first great feat: to travel more than 70,000 kilometers in a vehicle of 1928, going through America from Argentina to Alaska in almost 4 years and having Nahuel Pampa, his first Son, on the road. As Herman says: “We all have dreams, absolutely all. Not going for them is not going through life. ‘Catch Your Dream’ is an ideal book to inspire anyone to realize their dreams. “
To top it all off, from 7pm to 8:30pm, we will have a speech where all the interested people, will know firsthand how he began his dream.
From 5 pm to 8.30 pm the entrance is free entrance until complete the capacity. *This activity doesn’t include the visit to the collection*.
