The Automobile and Fashion Museum of Malaga presents a year full of new projects.

In December 2015, we have grown up increasing our collection with a new vehicle, “American LaFrance Simplex” from 1918, which you will find in the “Belle Epoque” room. This model is extraordinary in its style but also in mechanics. It will transport you to the New York of the early twentieth century.

As well, in the Automobile and Fashion Museum of Malaga is presented the seventh exhibition of Fashion, “Spectra”, where is mixed the fantasy, mystery, luxury and splendour. A set of Haute Couture pieces as decoration that transports us to a world of legendary characters, the art of comedy to comic opera. Seductive marquise and courtesans, diamond hunters, white glove thieves, exotic adventurous, frivolous lovers and capricious dancers. Some myths of cinema and show biz. Grace Jones’s mask, Casanova Henriette’s mask, the image of Farinelli, the last   Italian castrato singer or the imaginary of Arsene Lupin, the man of a thousand faces.

We have aadded a new artwork with “Trees die standing up”, tribute to the staging of the problems of climate change. A brown root with more than 500 years old, represents the dignity and nobility of nature in the situation of human aggression. In this Museum, we advocacy of car in its many aspects, aesthetic, historical and mechanics, never forgetting its responsibility as a major pollutant. Since our opening we have a matter dedicated to alternative energies with six models of vehicles for more than a century and worked with different energies to gasoline until the XXI century prototypes that will be the energies of the future, we wonder then, Have we lost a century? In the space of “Hope” we found an abandoned car in a land for three decades covered by plants, and proposing the following message: “The aggression that man does to nature can’t be irreversible” This root more than 500 years is fortunated!
