In Paris, in 1934, the Chamber of Commerce considered the haute couture hat as work of art, equivalent to that of a painting or sculpture which must be preserved.
And that is what we do as guardians of hundreds of these jewels, symbols of luxury that distinguished the person using it. A very intimate item because it was not mass-produced; I have never seen two identical designs.
