Facundo Saravia was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is son of Juan Carlos Saravia and Maria Susana Arias Uriburi, he has four brothers, he is the biggest one and one sister. In 1975, he created a band, Los Zorzales, with a friend, Gonzalo Barceló, and his brothers, Santiago and Juan Carlos.

In 1995, he decided to publish in parallel with his job in Los Chalchaleros band  his first soloist album, ¨TRANSPARENCIAS¨, obtained a Gold Record and nominated to the Best New Artist. Moreover, he was the first folkloric artist in singing against drugs in his zamba Después del Resplandor. In 1997, he released his second soloist album “ARTESANOS DE LA VOLUNTAD”. In 1999, he recorded with Yamila Cafrune and the Miguel Gómez Carrillo choir boys a song “DE CHANGUITOS Y CHINITAS”, album nominated to Carlos Gardel awards as the music of 2000 year. In 2002, the soloist album “FACUNDO” was edited; he wanted to find its place in tne folkloric music as soloist. He presents a new album “POR ESAS COSAS DE LA VIDA”, with new songs of important songwriter as Jaime Dávalos, Arsenio Aguirre, Adofo Abalos, Omar Moreno Palacios, among others. The next years he will continue editing new albums.

Today he is one of the most recognized artists of Argentinian Folkloric and is an authentic pleasure to count with his visit and music.

Facundo Saravia, the last Chalchalero, brings us new songs as soloist and the Argentinian Folkloric unforgettable hits. He was part of Los Chalchaleros until they decided to stop singing.

After a farewell tour around Argentina and other countries, in 2002 June, in the city of Salta, place of origin, they gave a last concert before a full stage. Currently, he has a total of 9 albums as soloist.
